Because the holidays are coming and families/friends will be together to celebrate, I thought it would be a great time to share this awesome app. OneDay is an app (available on idevices and android!) that you can use to capture memories and it puts them together in a video with music and all! It's extremely easy to use. The app has several categories of questions like family, holidays, babies/toddlers, etc. You select your category and then a question will come up. You hit record and film your subject responding to the question. After all questions are answered, the app will put music in, show the questions, and then play the person's response. You can save the video to your camera roll and share with family and friends!
I used it as a classroom teacher for a Mother's Day gift (see a sample here), but I plan to record my grandmother (approaching 90 years old!) over the holidays so that our family will always have that! There are some precious ones to do with your kids, memories from your wedding, etc.
